As President of the Self-Finance Schools Association in Central Gujarat, he leads initiatives across seven districts, including Vadodara,. His influence extends beyond education, with key roles as a Task Force Member of the Legal Cell for Self-Finance Schools in Gujarat, and a Core Committee Member of the Vadodara, International Marathon (VIM). Utpal Shah is also an active member of the Baroda Branch of WIRC of ICAI and both the Bharuch District Management Association and the Baroda Management Association.
